Last summer, I had the incredible honor of capturing the magic between my sweet pals, Chloe & Josh. And let me tell you…it was nothing short of wonderful! Armed with my camera and a pair of dancing shoes (because why not?), I stepped into The Clementine, a historic church turned wedding venue built in 1889, ready to document a day filled with laughs, love, and unforgettable memories.
Photographing at The Clementine was a visual feast for the senses. The venue's beautiful exposed brick, original windows, intricate 100-year-old pipe organ, authentic chandeliers, unique wallpaper in every dressing room, and delicate golden lattices provided an overall breathtaking backdrop everywhere I looked. I mean seriously, the list goes on and on. Each corner of this historic space seemed to whisper stories of the past, adding an extra layer of depth to the moments unfolding before my lens. Being in such a unique and picturesque setting elevated the entire experience. These details turned the day into a seamless blend of capturing history while making new memories.
Now let’s talk about the flowers. The. Flowers. 😍
Where do I even begin? From the entrance to the altar, every nook and cranny of The Clementine was adorned with blooms that seemed to burst with personality. They were more than just decorations; they were truly a reflection of who Chloe is as a person and the vibrancy of the love shared between her and Josh. The arrangements were vividly colorful, stunningly unique, and overall a sight to behold.
Shooting for friends, as any photographer will tell you, hits differently. It goes beyond being just a job; it's a front-row seat to love and laughter, a privileged position that comes with its own set of joyful challenges. To Chloe and Josh, thank you for letting me be your paparazzi on your big day. It was a celebration of love and friendship – a wedding day that will forever hold a special place in my heart and portfolio. Cheers to love, laughter, and capturing the moments that matter most! 🥂✨
